This is me telling you about my project and blinking a lot.

Hi!
I've been invited to do a 2 month artist residency in Holland in the spring and I need a little extra support to help me get there.
My Project:
2 months this spring in a small town in Holland creating art. I will be bringing with me my hand tools and rolls of wire. My goal is to create 30 new one of a kind pieces of jewelry while I am there. I want to work with my natural surroundings incorporating found objects into my work and use natural elements to experiment with patinas, textures, and colours.
Having this opportunity to live in another country for two months and create art is so exciting for me.
Your support will help me with my plane ticket, my cost of living, and my supplies. If I raise more then the $1500 it will allow me to explore The Netherlands, visit art galleries, and really experience the culture, which will all influence my designs. I have never been to Europe before and I know that this will be such a great opportunity for me personally and artistically.

I am a jewelry designer and metalsmith living in Vancouver BC, Canada. My work has been described as narrative metalsmithing as I believe that jewelry is about love and telling a story.
My one of a kind pieces have been chosen for national and international exhibitions and I sell my work at galleries throughout Canada.
I love what I do. I love designing, and I love making every one of my pieces with my own two hands.
