My name is Clarice Green. I have loved to bake since I was a young girl and have always made cakes, cookies, pies and loved creating wonderful desserts for my husband James and my son Jafar. The name Cup is a term of endearment given to me by my husband, short for my nickname Reesecup. So that is where we got our name for the business. I must admit cakes were in my plan for the business but cupcakes were not. However that changed quickly when I started getting requests for them and now love to make them. Ironic “Cup’s Cakes” huh.

I am big on flavor and quality ingredients. I put emphasis on not cutting corners which translates into an excellent product.

My husband is going to eat something sweet from somewhere. So in order to bake in a more healthy way I have incorporated whole wheat flours and healthy oils and a natural sugar called Whey Low in a few of my recipes. Those recipes have great flavor and quite a few less calories.

I am in the process of creating more flavors for you to enjoy and will be adding them to our menu. Stay tuned.
